HPW Successfully Defends Employer in ADA Action

HPW successfully defended a large non-profit organization in a disability discrimination action filed by a former employee alleging that she was not provided reasonable accommodation as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act after she suffered a knee injury. HPW filed a Motion for Summary Judgment on the employer’s behalf, which the Magistrate Judge recommended granting. This led to a successful resolution of the matter.
